Yesterday DH removed the covers from the Run, so I could take photos for selling.
Today, DH moved one of the coops into the fruit cage run, so that we could move the Girls out of the big run and start dismantling it. He had to take the coop apart to move it, and take part of the fruit cage run down to get it in.
We let the Girls into the fruit cage - they've been locked out of it for months - and they were very excited to start excavating.
I don't know if they've realised that their coop is now in there. Bedtime is likely to be very noisy tonight.
Once it was out of the way, he was able to start to fill the trenches dug under that coop over the years by the Girls
He removed the Chicken Guard auto-door. Then he fixed the Weldmesh hole for both that and the access hole from the removed coop.
I went round labelling the metal poles, and putting colour coded cable ties on the roof mesh to help the successful buyer put it all back together again.
Tomorrow we will start dismantling it properly.
