I managed to accidentally plan two theatre trips on consecutive days.
The first was with Miss Teen, plus DSD and DGD, to go and see Matilda, one Friday evening. This had originally been booked for burthday pressies for MIss Teen and DGD more than 2 years ago, before Covid. It had been cancelled and rebooked twice since.
Miss Teen and I had a lovely dinner at Pizza Pilgrims, befre meeting up with DSD and DGD who had travelled a long way by train to get there.
The show was great. What a horrible story! The production was good, and everyone seemed to enjoy it.
On the Saturday, DH and I along with DB and DSIL went to see Wicked. We decided to go in by train, see the show, come back, eat locally. Wicked was wonderful, such a great story. I'll never look at The WIzard of Oz in the same way again/ We had a fab dinner at a local Turkish restaurant, and it was lvely to have been out after such a long time.
