I managed to maintain enthusiasm for loft cklearing for quite some time.
For a week or so, I spent several hours a day actually in the loft. Pulling stuff out, going through boxes, sweeping up the mess.
I was absolutely ruthless with "my" stuff, which includes "our" stuff which is really my mine to make decisions on, rather than "our " stuff which is really my husband's to make decisions on.
I realised that there was stuff in the loft which I was waiting for DH to make a decision on, and he was waiting for me to make a decision. We've now got a box each, where the other can put stuff in to sort out, which has solved that issue.
More stuff given away, sold, donated, binned.
Stuff that has been allowed to remain is being stored in tote crates, which I've organised and labelled & dated. These are stored so that the ones that are likely to be added to are accessible.
I don't have enough crates, and I'm having trouble getting responses from the network of sellers, so I'm now having to store stuff which should be crated in a (temporarily) different way. I've got a run of shelving for this, so at least I know I've reviewed the items on it and given them leave to remain.
DH has been busy trying to sort out the greenhouse to get ready for planting, so it'll be a while before he gets a chance to get up there and do "his" bits.
FB marketplace is being the joy and the nightmare that it always is. I have to psych myself up to list things, and I try and do a load at once so I can then have a break from it.
I'm not sure how much longer I'll maintain the enthusiasm, but it doesn't matter.
